Location

180 Maiden Lane is two blocks away from the South Street Seaport which is going through a transformation as well. South Street Seaport is the only high profile development on the east side. The main structure Pier 17 is to be completed in 2017. The highly coveted and widely successful Smorgasburg is also operating here.

The one down side to 180 Maiden Lane is that it is a bit farther to the subway lines relative to other downtown buildings.
