3 Hudson Boulevard

3 Hudson Boulevard, this new construction in Hudson Yards will draw more attention and tenants to the West Side office scene.  This 66 floor tower will rise north of 1,000 vertical feet and provide unobstructed views of Manhattan and New Jersey. With a total of 1.8 million square feet, roughly 1.5 million will be office space use. The remainder on the higher floors will be residential.

This impressive yet-to-be-built hi-rise office and residential tower is another example of first class office space on par with 1 World Trade and 11 Times Square.  Completion is slated for 2021.

The office spaces themselves, will offer high ceilings, efficient column-free floor plates, exceptional branding opportunities, and 360 degree views.  There will also be a rooftop club, sky garden with large trees protected by glass windscreens, a “sky club” on the top two floors, with swimming pools, terraces, event spaces, meeting rooms, and areas for dining, drinking, and lounging.

Leed in Design

Designed by FXFowle Architects, one of the unique features of the new construction in Hudson Yards is the twisting design near its top.  The design will allow the buildings’ photovoltaic sunscreens to capture maximum sunlight.  These sunscreens which are integrated into the glass facade will generate 800,000 kilowatt hours of energy per year.

In order to attain Leed Platinum certification for the building when it is completed, the developers of this office space are including these building design amenities:
