Chelsea Office Incorporates Bright Design Elements 307 Seventh Avenue Danielle Arps, a talented designer of office space, has incorporated bright and fun design features to Day One Agency’s Chelsea office.  Located directly across the Fashion Institute of Technology at 307 Seventh Avenue, Day One Agency, a communication and marketing agency, has been successful creating an office environment conducive towards higher work productivity. Chelsea Office Loft Along with the usual loft-like feel of exposed ceilings, polished concrete floors, and open space, there are added elements that bring in some airy outdoor concepts indoors.  This Chelsea office also features decorative glass-fronted offices, vibrant orange accents throughout, oak / white colored furniture, and sleek cubicle-style couches on wheels.  There are also rows of office plants placed as partitions in the open area, in order to create a bit more privacy without the stale cubicle feel.  Danielle Arps certainly brings a creative, yet practical design to Day One Agency’s New York office location.        ...

Tech Startup Sunlit Office in Flatiron Memoir/Estimote’s Sunlit Office Memoir, an online app that let’s people share photos from Facebook, Instagram, and Foursquare all in one platform has teamed up with Estimote, a technology startup.  Their Flatiron office location has their space decorated around skylights and large loft windows.   Taking a closer look at the space, one can see the bright and open feel to this sunlit office in the Flatiron District.   Office Off Broadway A look inside Memoir/Estimote’s office space at 35 East 19th Street, one will notice the high ceilings and sizable skylights that allow unfiltered natural light into this sunlit office.  The space, designed by Danielle Arps, has a gray area rug with rectangular couches, and Arps’ signature over-sized chairs on wheels to allow for more mobility in the office.               Photographs by Stefon...

Tech Startup’s Cool Office in Midtown South Tech Startup Taykey has “tayken” space at 22 West 19th Street in the Midtown South submarket.  A tech startup, their office features oak finishes with charcoal accents designed by office designer Danielle Arps. About Taykey Taykey is a data analytics marketing company that compiles data to help companies track trends in various types of industries.  By tracking these trends as close to real time as possible, Taykey can build a marketing strategy that can more effectively target an audience.  Through the use of digital advertising, they support various marketing strategies whether it be events, people, products or brands. About the Building 22 West 19th Street has a great roster of tenants in the building.  Some of the tenants include Complete Body, Yippit, and Fox & Fowle Architects.  The building is roughly 200,000 square feet.  This happens to be one of the most desirable areas of New York City office space for the creative company.        ...

Kitchen Startup Office is Cooking in SoHo   Don’t Bother Cooking Dinner After Work Busy professionals looking for a way to save time on cooking meals can do so with food tech startup Kitchensurfing.  The model is simple:  Order a chef on demand, and they will take care of all the supplies needed to create a four course meal.  Kitchensurfing hires independent chefs to cook meals in about 30 minutes anywhere in Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn.  It’s a higher level of service than other food delivery programs that only provide ingredients. KitchenSurfing Startup Office Located at 578 Broadway, the offices at Kitchensurfing are beautifully designed with a food theme in mind.  Office designer for startups, Danielle Arps has blended kitchen and Bauhaus elements into this SoHo office space.  Sections are decorated with Arps’ signature oak wall decor, rug-designed carpeting, sliding frosted glass doors etched in kitchen utensils, and decorative office plants.  The main draw, however, is the full kitchen installation that is over the top for an office pantry area. Built for Tech Startups Built in 1895, the 350,000 square foot building was originally used as a sewing factory, but is now occupied mainly by tech startups such as FourSquare and MongoDB.  The loft office building has 12 foot ceilings which allow abundant natural light to penetrate the spaces.  Coupled with excellent access to many subway lines, this SoHo building makes for a great startup office space.          ...

Great Design Trumps an Expensive Build Out – Yipit Bring the Outside Indoors YipitData, a financial technology company that collects operational data on publicly traded companies has pinpointed it’s new office in the hot Midtown South sub-market of Manhattan.  Located in the Flatiron District, this bright and airy space demonstrates the value of great design over an expensive buildout. An Eclectic Great Design This 11,000 square foot space located at 22 west 19th Street, has been designed by Danielle Arps, a well known interior designer in the Tech world.  Completed in 2015, Yippit’s office, has distinguishing features such light oak finishes, custom oak millwork, and plants interspersed that serve as an artistic and architectural element.  The light green carpeting compliment the plants and help bring the outdoors inside. The light colored walls and open ceilings really makes the space look roomy.
